  • Are you vulnerable, lack confidence and challenged by the young minds?

  • Your experience does not commensurate the productivity?

  • Feel challenges with Tech evolution?

  • Remember you have surpassed many hurdles in life to be where you are?

Gone are the days where we were taught that there is no substitute to hard work. Which apparently means hard work was the key to success, but this definition of success of yesteryear went to archive with the changing times.

New time is all about smart work and not hard work. It is not a change, it is a transformation, then why not pave your way to transformed self. Why should your knowledge and experience get undermined with this change.

Check and change:

My Personal Change Management: As you may be navigating through a systematic process of change management in your current organization, this transformation too is another reflection of personal change management.  All you do is raise a requisition for the change: your trigger in mind and openness is the change requisition.

Future of Work: The transformation of the industries from convention methods to modern ways.  Coal used with fire to create steam to run a locomotive engine is now transformed to be powered by electrically powered engines.  This is a transformation which reduced the pollution, unhuman ways of work, difficulty in controlling, and so many more to a hyper responsive and secured rail transportation.  Unless you embraced the transformation you would still struggle with all challenges.

New Ways of Working: It is just at the horizon or just at the switch of the button of intention?  An intention, empowered with efforts and openness to adapt.  Make that switch and you are all set to enjoy the new ride. Completely carefree, confident and contained.

Mindset Shift: The switching of the cryogenic fuse. The spacecraft is all set to launch from its launchpad to the galaxies. Similar is our minds: just be ready to change. Remember the changes in banks in 1990s from manual to digital. Our lives have changed forever for better.

Transformation: Transformation is not about outside. The first transformation trigger is in you.  Unless you are ready to ignite the cannon of transformation in your mindset, the blocker shall remain persistent.  Be ready to embrace the challenge and open to the transformation from hard work to smart work.

Innovation: Key to continued success.  Unless you and your organization is ready to innovate and constantly improve your top line products, you may be obsolete.  Long time market leaders are no one now. Needless to talk about Nokia and Kodak.  It is as true as it can be.

Digital Transformation:  The invention of network and its usage in all walks of life has completely transformed the ways of working for the connected world that we enjoy today.  Carrying currencies to cards and now just your mobile handset is enough to pay any bills. Be the one to ride the wave of digital transformation. Don’t shy away.

Workplace Culture: The cultural values are the driving force for any organization. Unless the organization promotes the culture of embracing and pioneering the changes to transform, you will never lead or survive. It is equally applicable to ourselves too. Unless we are ready to embrace the culture, you will be left behind or be obsoleted from your workplace.

Adaptive Leadership:  What decides your ability to survive, sustain and grow by paving your path through uncertainty, disruption, and complexity by mobilizing people to face tough challenges and thrive in changing environments.  Strong leaders lead by example and keep others before themselves. Openness to embrace the transformational change is a sign of adaptive leaders. Are you one of those?

Growth Mindset: Delving with a growth mindset create cultures of continuous improvement, outperform peers in innovation, collaboration, and long-term adaptability helps you to sustain, survive and emerge as a winner.  Do I have that? Yes, I do.

Conclusion:

You have the zeal. You are an epitome of patience, hard work and dedication. If that is true, why should the transformation of ways of working is challenging you.

We all intent to be relevant at all times and not being over casted. Some of the researches conducted by institutes like Harvard, Stanford’s Carol Dweck and McKinsey has affirmed the value of learning. We all have gone through situations that have challenged our existence at least once.  If not, we are out to face one, if we are not upgrading and open to change.

Do you know what transformation is relevant to us and how it impacts us?
